A large crowd was in attendance for what ended up being a most enoyable parish night at Moynalvey GFC's funraising barbeque/raffle held on Sunday 2nd August.
First prize in the raffle of a signed Leinster jersey by the Heineken Cup winning squad was claimed by local man Declan Smith. A full list of the prize winners is as follows:
1st prize - Leinster jersey won by Declan Smith
2nd prize - €100 Elvery's voucher won by Jessica Smith (Seller: Louise Donoghue)
3rd prize - Shanks Mare voucher won by Margaret O'Reilly (Seller: Anthony Brien)
4th prize - Marcie's hamper won by Raymond Ryan (Seller: Raymond Ryan)
5th prize - Moynalvey jersey won by Packie Lafferty ( Seller: Kathleen Little)
6th prize - Knightsbrook voucher won by Shane Tynan ( Seller: Denis O'Shea)
A special mention must go to our wonderful barbeque chefs Sean & Kathleen McDermott, Dave & Yvonne McLoughlin and Kathleen Little. Also many thanks to all the card sellers, the organising committee, Devin Toner & all other prize donaters, Shanks Mare and anyone else who may have contributed to this great night.
