Moynalvey 1 - 4 Trim 2 - 10
Trim having already qualified for the final of the league proved much too strong for a youthful Moynalvey side who fielded the vast majority of their under 21 panel in preparation for their upcoming under 21 championship semi final.
The first half was a tight enough affair with only a Trim goal on the stroke of half time handing them a 1 - 4 to 0 - 2 point interval lead, Moynalvey's scores coming from David Donoghue and Ger Fagan.
Trim kicked a couple of great points just after the resumption to extend their lead before a Ciaran Collins goal pulled Moynalvey closer. However a couple of late points as well as a goal in the last minute meant Trim secured a well deserved victory.
