Moynalvey were defeated by a strong Ratoath side in this B league game played in Moynalvey on Saturday evening last.

A tight first half saw Ratoath lead by 0 – 5 to 0 – 3 at the break with Moynalvey’s scores coming from Ger Fagan, Ciaran Ennis and Brian Conneely.
Ratoath started the second half well with three points on the trot before a well taken Paul Conneely goal left and a further Ennis points left just the minimum between the sides. However this was as good as it got for Moynalvey as Ratoath responded with a goal of their own and despite further points from Conneely and Donal Smith, the visitors held on for a deserved win.
Best for Moynalvey were Robbie Donovan, Paul Conneely and Johnny Duffy.
