Moynalvey were quickest out of the blocks and points by John Donoghue and Cathal Sheridan were followed by a superb goal from Giles Drumm to leave Moynalvey 1 - 2 up after 15 minutes. Further points from Sheridan (3) and an inspirational long range score from Donal Smith left it 1 - 6 to no score at the break.
It didn't get much better for Drumree after the interval and further points from team captain Sheridan (0 - 2), Robbie Quinlan and Willie Byrne as well as a Ciaran Ennis goal meant Moynalvey closed out for a 14 point victory.
