Meath Coaching &Games will be running a Young Whistler course during the Easter holidays on Wed April 4th.
All clubs : please notify U16, U17,U19 boys & girls teams in your club. Participants should be 15 yrs or older to take part.
The Young Whistler course qualifies you to referee Meath Go Games as set out in Coiste Go Games regulations.
Ratified Young Whistlers are entitled to expenses of €15 per hour with the cost to be shared between participating clubs.
For 2018 Coiste Go Games wishes to increase the use of Young Whistlers and asks all clubs to send at least one potential YW to the course. Home clubs should provide the Young whistlers for games. However where the home club has no Young Whistler the visiting club can bring their own YW.
Participants must register for the course online at Eventbrite.ie. The registration cost for the course is €12 + €1.56 online fee.
Please go to Eventbrite.ie site and search for ‘Meath Go Games’ where you will find ‘Meath Go Games Referee’ course in 3 locations.
Choose the course location & time that suits and complete your registration.
Wednesday 4th April – Young Whistler courses
St Peter’s Dunboyne 10am – 12pm
Gaeil Colmcille 3pm – 5pm
Dunganny Centre of Excellence 6.30pm – 8.30pm
The Go Games Referee quiz MUST be taken before attending the course. Please review the Go Games rules before taking the quiz.

You must register for the YW course first before taking the Go Games Referee quiz on learning.gaa.ie.
The Go Games rules as applicable this year are attached. Please forward to the YW participants from your clubs when they have registered for the YW course. NB: Participants should also make themselves available for the County Go Games Launch Days on Saturday 7th & 14th of April.
