Great win for Jenkinstown. Superb evening for football and we had an entertaining game from a Jenkinstown perspective.
Some great play in the first half with the highlight been a lob from 35 meters by Conor Duffy to score a nicely taken goal. Adam Rooney opened up the scoring with a nice point followed in by a goal. Scores followed by Ross Jackson, Ciaran harnan and Conor Duffy to leave Jenkinstown well in control at half time.
Bective could only field 12 players which meant a lot of changes at half time and throughout the second half.
Strong displays from Adam Mchugh, Fergal Kiernan, Daniel Byrne in the backs with quick ball going forward to Ciaran Harnan, Robert Keane, Caragh O Brien, Eoghan Curley opening up a disappointing Bective.
Second half head on wind didn’t cause much of a concern with all substitutes putting in a good shift and the scores kept coming. Ryan Sinnott took a couple of nice goals and Liam o Reilly even though a late and final substitute got on to the scoreboard with a nicely taken point. Finish score line 9-9 to 2-2
