Well done to the group of cyclists who completed a sponsored 300km+ cycle from the home of Sam Maguire Dunmanway Co. Cork through the foundation place of the GAA Thurles Co. Tipperary back to Kilmore Park Moynalvey over last Saturday and Sunday the 15th/16th September. The group consisted of Paul Conneely, Brian Conneely, Ger Fagan, Barry O’Keefe, Liam Harnan, Derek McCardle, Fiachra Purcell, Brendan Melia and driver Paddy Kiernan. Also congratulations to all the children who took part in the fun cycle on Sunday, leading the group of Dunmanway cyclists home. A juvenile medal presentation coincided with the arrival home of the cyclists at Kilmore Park. Meath footballer Joe Sheridan was on hand to present the medals, while a BBQ was also on site and a great day was had by all.
