The club passed a vote of sympathy with the O’Sullivan and Hoban families on the death of Eugene (Brian) O’Sullivan, former chairman of Moynalvey GFC.
Brian, a retired Garda, played football for Dunshaughlin originally before moving to Moynalvey in 1972. He went onto play for Moynalvey between 1972 and 1978 before serving as chairman in the 1980’s.
Brian passed away after a brave battle against illness aged 61 years on Saturday, August 30th and was buried after funeral mass in Moynalvey on Wednesday, September 3rd. May he rest in peace.
