Moynalvey opened their U16 campaign with a hard fought victory over Round Towers in Drumbaragh, Tuesday 7th April .

Playing into driving rain Moynalvey struggled to hold their hosts to a 3 point lead at half time, 0-07 to 1-01, with Moynalvey’s only scores coming in the form of a point from James Kelly and a goal from Eric Ryan. Towers started the second half with a well taken point before two well worked goals from Kelly and Padric Harnan gave Moynalvey the lead, 3 further points from the boot of Kelly saw Moynalvey home on a scoreline of 3-04 to 0-10.
