Moynalvey under 15’s resumed their Division 2 league campaign after a 2 week break with a hard won away victory over a strong Kellery Emmets side (Syddan/Castletown combination) on Saturday, October 18th.
Kellery Emmets 1 – 9 Moynalvey 3 – 12
Kellery started the stronger of the two sides and led by 4 points at half time on a score line of 1-07 to 0-06. However Moynalvey fought back strongly in the second half to lead by 3 points with 10 minutes to go. Two late goals left them well clear of the home side at the final whistle.
The win sees Moynalvey with maximum points after 5 games played and they now face the only other unbeaten team of the competition Skyrne in Skryne next weekend.
