Moynalvey completed the group stage of the under 15 league on Sunday morning, November 16th with a comfortable away victory over a fancied Skryne team and in doing so progressed to the semi finals.
Moynalvey 5 – 9 Skryne 0 – 6
Moynalvey started the stronger and raced into a 5 point lead after 15 minutes. Skyrne responded with 2 points but a quick brace of goals left Moynalvey leading on a score line of 2-05 to 0-2 at half time. Three early second half goals killed the game off as a contest and Moynalvey ran out comfortable winners.
This result leaves Moynalvey topping their group and they now await the result of a match between Summerhill and Trim to see who they face in the semi final.
