Moynalvey recorded their second under 15 league win from 2 games played with an 8 point victory over local rivals Summerhill in this Division 2 league game played in Summerhill on Saturday, September 20th.

Summerhill started the better of the two teams and led by 3 points to no score after 10 minutes. Once Moynalvey settled three unanswered points drew them level before a James Kelly goal put them in the lead. A further point from Padraic Harnan from 50 yards out left them leading by 4 points at halftime on a score line of 1-04 to 0-03.
Moynalvey continued to dominate the game in the second half and 3 more scores put them 7 points up. Summerhill replied with 2 points before Kelly put the game beyond doubt with a second goal.
Overall this was a good team performance by Moynalvey and they now face Na Fianna next week.
