Moynalvey GFC is holding a scrap metal collection at their club premises car park on Saturday 4th June. This is an opportunity to get rid of unwanted metal items for free and in the process support your local GAA club, items can be deposited at the club grounds car park between 10am-4pm, larger items such as cars/tractors can be collected (free of charge) from your home.
The collection will accept household items and farm equipment of a very wide variety (as listed below), provided the items are partly metal of some kind. Give your back yard and shed a clean out of all metal objects from old bicycles, prams, wheelbarrows, up to cars and tractors, and other machinery. PLEASE NOTE CAR BATTERIES ARE ACCEPTED.
NO TVs, FRIDGES, GAS CYLINDERS, BEER KEGS OR TYRES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Larger items such as cars and tractors can be collected free of charge from donors’ homes. Contact Peter Collins (086 8491735) or Kathleen McDermott (087 2531447) to arrange collections.
The club has asked that donations be brought to the car park ONLY between 10am-4pm.
