Moynalvey under 14 team lost their long unbeaten run when going down to Na Fianna in the under 14 championship semi final in Summerhill on Wednesday evening, May 21st.
Na Fianna 7 – 8 Moynalvey 4 – 7
This was the fifth meeting of these 2 teams in the past 9 months with Na Fianna winning deservedly for the first time. Moynalvey’s impressive record of only conceding 3 goals all year was blown away by a well drilled and determined Na Fianna outfit.
However, no one can fault the effort of the Moynalvey players and the enjoyment they have brought everyone so far this year.
