St. Ultans ran out convincing winners in this Feis cup replay game played in damp underfoot conditions in Bohermeen on Thursday July 23rd.

St. Ultans 1-14 Moynalvey 2-3
.
Senior side St. Ultan’s accounted for their Intermediate opponents Moynalvey at the second attempt in a game played in difficult conditions yesterday evening. Moynalvey got off to a bright start, when in the 6th minute a long ball in from Damien Dixon saw Ciaran Ennis race through on goal to finish to the net. However Moynalvey failed to build on this and allowed Ultans build up a commanding 0-10 to 1-0 half time lead. At the break, things could have been a lot worse for the visiting side, as in the 20th minute, Ultans were denied raising a green flag when Moynalvey net minder Ollie Regan superbly saved a penalty.
.
Ultan’s pointed first on the resumption, before Moynalvey staged a mini revival to come within five points of their opponents through two frees & a ’45 from Cathal Sheridan. However 1-3 on the spin from Ultans effectively killed the game off as a contest. Moynalvey did however get a consolation goal in the final minutes, when a long ball in deceived the Ultans defence allowing David Donoghue grab possession, who laid off to substitute Brian Conneely, who found the net with a superb finish leaving the final score 1-14 to 2-3.
