Cycle from the home of Sam Maguire, through Thurles and the birthplace of the GAA and finish in Kilmore Park, Moynalvey. The cycle begins on Saturday September 15th starting from Dunmanway, Co. Cork to Thurles, Co. Tipperary (170km) via Mallow and continues on Sunday September 16th from Hayes Hotel to Kilmore Park, Moynalvey via Portlaoise, Kildare Town and Clane (145km). For the more casual cyclist there will be a Fun Cycle from Kildare Town to Kilmore Park, Moynalvey (55km) on Sunday September 16th, meeting up with the cyclists from Dunmanway in Kildare Town and leading them home. School children wishing to take part can join the cycle at Moynalvey school. Proceeds will go towards buying and training people in the use of AED (Defibrillator).
