Moynalvey GFC would like to congratulate club member Louise Donoghue on being selected at wing half back on the “Soaring star” camogie team in its inaugural year.

The soaring star accolade is an award introduced this year to recognise the performances of players from the Junior camogie championship grades. Louise has had a great year winning a Leinster Championship medal and reaching the All-Ireland Junior semi-final with Meath and also winning an Intermediate Championship with Kiltale. Louise also captained Athlone IT to win the Purcell Cup this year.

The awards were presented at the All Star award ceremony in association with O’Neill’s in Citywest Hotel on November 7th.
