Moynalvey’s second string suffered a very heavy defeat in this Junior C championship game played in Dunshaughlin on Saturday evening last.
Moynalvey 0 – 1 Ratoath 2 – 17
Having lost a number of eligible players to the first team in recent weeks, this match against a very strong Ratoath team who had defeated Skryne by 17 points in their previous game, was always going to be a struggle.
And so it proved despite Brian Gilsenan getting Moynalvey off the mark in the second minute, this was as good as it got as Ratoath coasted to an easy win in what was an extremely disappointing Moynalvey performance.
