By promoynalvey Wed 22nd Dec

Please note the following in relation to the updated Covid Advice from the Government for Clubs/Counties in the 26 Counties only on Friday last:

Capacity Limits – Games: Attendance at outdoor events, including entertainment, cultural, community and sporting events, is now limited to 50% of venue capacity or 5,000 attendees, whichever is the lower. This is expected to be the case until at least January 30th.

Indoor Games/Events: In the South, no indoor events, including entertainment, cultural, community and sporting events, can take place after 8pm until further notice (i.e. any events, including Club or County meetings must be concluded by 8pm). Attendances at indoor events are limited to 50% of venue capacity or 1,000 attendees, whichever is the lower.

Training Outdoor and indoor team training can take place after 8pm. Indoor training continues to be permitted in the 26 Counties on the following basis:

–          Where all participants are considered immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within the previous 6 months)

–          Where participants have mixed immunity status, multiple pods of up to 6 participants are permitted to use indoor halls for sports activities, subject to protective measures being in place. The overall number of pods will have regard to the size of venue and there should be substantial social distance between individual pods.

Bars on GAA Property Restaurants, bars and cafes on GAA property in the 26 Counties (excluding take-away or delivery services) must close at 8pm in line with general guidance for the sector.

Is muide le meas,
