Moynalvey GAA – Join us, Your club and community need you!
GAA Community information meeting Moynalvey Hall Thursday 20th February at 7.30pm
Dear Community Members,
We are excited to announce a volunteer recruitment drive for our Gaelic Football Club in Moynalvey, which represents the parish of Moynalvey and Kiltale.
There are currently 638 members within the club, ranging from nursery to adult level providing football for boys and girls in our rural community. Facilities are also available to walkers and runners who wish to use our track. The club represents a vital social avenue for the people of our parish, both on and off the playing field.
As we continue to grow, we need fresh voices and enthusiastic individuals to bring community to our club.
We have volunteering opportunities to suit different interests and areas of expertise..!
We are setting up a number of specific working groups (approx. 4-10 members per group) where your involvement and skill can make a significant impact in areas such as:
– Facility growth and care
– Healthy Club events for players and the wider community
– Coaching skills and enhancement
– Getting us match day ready!
– Fundraising events/lotto and grant applications.
If you are passionate about sports and community, we invite you to lend your skills and ideas.
Together we can enhance our club and provide the best experience for all members.
A club and community’s greatest asset is its people, those who come together and make a real difference.
Join us in making that difference at our information evening on Thursday 20th February at 7.30pm.
