Congratulations to former Moynalvey NS pupil Marie Louise (Mazzie) Reilly and the Womens Irish Rugby team, Grand Slam winners 2013. The Irish ladies bagged their their first ever Grand Slam by edging out a tenacious Italian team 6-3 in Milan today, resulting in them being unbeaten in the 2013 6 Nations championship, taking the slam, the championship and the triple crown titles. Mazzie marshalled a very effective lineout, from which the Italians struggled to contain the Irish maul at times.
