Seneschalstown had a more than comfortable win over visitors Moynalvey at Fr. Tully Park on Friday evening in round 6 of the Seamus Connolly Catering Div. 1B A League.
Seneschalstown 3-17
Moynalvey 0-5
Right from the early stages things looked ominous for Moynalvey as they faced in to a 1-6 to no score deficit after 16 minutes.
Moynalvey eventually opened their account in the 25th minute with a David McLoughlin free.
Any thoughts of Moynalvey momentum being built were quashed within sixty seconds when Seneschalstown went back up the field for their first goal from Robbie Finnegan.
Moynalvey points from Vinny Walsh and Craig Gilsenan either side of another Seneschalstown point left the score board read 2-7 to 0-3 at half time.
If the game wasn’t already put to bed, it definitely was after the third quarter, as the home side reeled off six points without reply to leave the score 2-13 to 0-3 at the three quarter hour mark.
The remainder of the game proved little more than shooting practice for Seneschalstown as they ran out comprehensive 3-17 to 0-5 winners.
