Moynalvey registered their first win of the 2011 B League campaign with a 10 point victory over visitors St. Ultans at Kilmore Park Moynalvey on Monday evening May 9th.

After 5 minutes the game looked like it would be keenly contested as the sides drew level on 0-2 apiece; however the remainder of the half saw Moynalvey boss possession and leave the field at the break with a commanding 0-10 to 0-4 lead. Ciaran Ennis with 0-7 to his name in the opening period was the main tormentor of the St. Ultans defence, with the other scores coming from wing back David Durkan (0-2) and midfielder Brian Conneely (0-1).
After the restart it was more of the same from the home side when Ennis hit his 8th point of the evening and Johnny Carey pointed leaving 8 points between the sides. Brian Conneely pointed his 2nd of the evening before three more scorers got in on the act, in the shape of Luke Duffy (0-1), Shane Collins (0-1) and Donal Smith giving Moynalvey a comfortable victory. Best for the winners were Brian Reilly, David Kane, Donal Smith and Ciaran Ennis.
