The home side opened their account in the 11th minute and five minutes later took the lead with a converted free. Despite dominating play, numerous spurned chances meant Moynalvey had to wait 20 minutes for their second score when Ciaran Ennis fired over in the 24th minute leaving a point between the sides, 0-3 to 0-2. In the remaining six minutes the home side posted two more scores leaving them 0-5 to 0-2 to the good at the break.

However sixty seconds later Nobber broke forward to grab a second goal of their own leaving the sides level for the fifth and final time.
