Congratulations to Anthony Forde who has been named “Meath Young Footballer of the Year” for 2011. Anthony played a central part in Moynalvey’s capture of the Mattie McDonnell Cup (Meath IFC) in 2011 starring at wing half back. Anthony also played an integral part in Moynalvey winning Div. 2 of the Minor League, before progressing on to the Final of Div. 1 of the Minor Championship in which Moynalvey were narrowly defeated, all of this while playing a pivotal role in helping the Meath minors to a Leinster Final this year.
